DESCRIPTION & MEASUREMENTS

Rare, authentic 1986 (1980s) Avirex Limited Type B-3, made in the USA, Scovill zipper. US Army Air Forces sheepskin flight jacket inspired by WWII USAF flight jackets, specifically those worn by B-17 crews.

Superb natural camel-brown patina with authentic signs of wear typical of genuine vintage B-3s, creating a unique, heritage look. Interior shearling in excellent condition—very thick and warm—with no structural weakness in the leather.

Increasingly hard to find in this condition.

Some signs of wear and old repairs on the sleeves (visible in photos); these are solid and do not compromise the jacket's integrity. A few superficial marks on the back. Excellent overall condition for an original 1980s B-3.
