DESCRIPTION & MEASUREMENTS

Authentic 1980s Schott Bros. A-2, made in the USA, inspired by US Army Air Forces flight jackets. A vintage piece with the robust construction typical of Schott, the historic American leather brand.

Based on military specifications, with a “Flyer Type Garment” label, brown satin lining and a cropped flight-jacket cut with ribbing, faithful to the spirit of original A-2s.

Black cowhide with beautiful natural patina, pronounced grain and a clean vintage appearance. Never restored and rare in this condition. It has aged beautifully, with character but without damage; very good overall condition for its age.

Original US zipper and details consistent with period production. Classic, slightly boxy A-2 cut. For connoisseurs and fans of flight jackets and American vintage.
